Frequently Asked Questions
Are you open to collaborations?
Yes! Tell me your idea and, depending on your suggestions or proposal, we'll discuss it.
Can I interview you?
Absolutely! I'm open to any format like written interview, live interview, podcast, and more!
Will you do author visits to schools/libraries/etc.?
For now, I'm limiting visits to New Jersey. For places further away, I'm open to a video visit.
Do you have social media?
I sure do! It's kind of hard to be an author without social media. Haha. My social media handles are:
Facebook: Author Samantha Picaro
Instagram: @author.samantha.picaro
TikTok: @authorsamanthap
Any advice for writers?
The best ideas for stories come from thoughts like "Oh, it'd be nice to have a book about (insert plot here)." Write down those thoughts as soon as possible. Trust me, you will forget if you don't make a note, or at least that's my experience.
Will you explore other genres?
I'm absolutely open to it! YA Contemporary is where I feel most comfortable right now but I would definitely like to explore fantasy as a subgenre or even write a New Adult/Adult Contemporary one day.
