I (she/her) don’t believe author bios fully capture a person’s life but I’ll do my best!
I am the author of funny, heartfelt YA. The themes of my books are family, friendship, and chasing your dreams. Each book will focus on the main character's specific goal, like how the protagonist tries to prevent a cafe from closing in Limitless Roads Cafe. My Master’s in Social Work inspired me to finally write books incorporating my #ActuallyAutistic identity. It also inspired me to work in the nonprofit sector. That, in turn, led me to pursue librarian work. That's quite a road but no one's life path is truly linear. Writing credits include the article “We Need More Autistic Women in the Media” on the website for Psi Chi International Honor Society in Psychology, of which I am a member. Although I didn’t declare a Minor in English or Writing, I took many writing courses in undergraduate school including Poetry and Creative Writing. I live in New Jersey with my family and many pets that include a tiny parrot who makes up for his size with a big personality. When I’m not writing, you can find me volunteering, trying new coffee shops, finding a new show, playing video games, or taking walks. |
